The damage that was caused from her fall at the Junkyard broke her lower spinal cord. With the help of the vet, Jordan and I decided that Gloria should be "put down". It was such a hard decision to make and Jordan and I cried and talked and cried and missed our first little baby. She is playing with her three other brothers and sisters right now and she will always be remembered and missed. We love you Gloria!!!!

Saying Goodbye...
Yesterday Jordan and I took our new little kitten named "Gloria" to the A&M Vet Clinic to get
checked out and x-rayed. The vet had bad news and told us that Gloria had no control of her lower body which included bowls and legs. The damage that was caused from her fall at the Junkyard broke her lower spinal cord. With the help of the vet, Jordan and I decided that Gloria should be "put down". It was such a hard decision to make and Jordan and I cried and talked and cried and missed our first little baby. Day three..
well.. day three with Gloria and she is doing 150% better. She is eating and playing, but she still can't use her back legs. Jordan and I are taking her to the Vet in College Station tomorrow. Hope all goes well!!!!!

Junkyard Kitten....
Today was just an ordinary day... we woke up and had coffee. Then, ate breakfast with Geri Wink and Pat Morchat(Mom). Then, we went to the junkyard to get some metal and parts for some projects Jordan and I are working on. BUT>>>>>> the junkyard had a special plan for Team Morchat... We found a kitten that had been picked up in an iron pile with its brothers and sisters and was dropped with the metal. It was the only one that survived and I pulled out the rest of the family and buried then in the trees. Our kitten was almost dead, starved and tired. Jordan stopped the Junkyard search and held the kitten in the car while Pat and I drove. We have been nursing and cleaning the kitten all afternoon. We hope that it survives and becomes our first child... updates to follow!!!
